New Year

Happy New Year to all of you who visit my blog. I hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed New Year. I wish you all the best of all you love, treasured friendships to warm your heart, stash to keep your hands busy, and sweet dreams filled with lavender whispers and finding that one special item that makes your heart do a somersault during your shopping jaunts.

I'm slowly making my way back into the studio, so hopefully I'll have some creations to share. I made a few vintage lace and lavender filled hearts with a touch of silk ribbon embroidery to test the waters. I've sent out several, but have some to stuff and put in my etsy shop which I hope to fill with goodies as I do another cleaning of the studio. Like most of you, I only use certain stash items, so the rest must go because it overwhelms me and I feel guilty knowing it will never be used.

On a happier note, my beautiful mother celebrated her 88th birthday this month. We had our traditional Red Lobster lunch and enjoyed a strawberry Daiquiri together and it was soooo refreshing.

I made her a collage of some of our fun jaunts.

Well that's a little sampling of what I've been doing. I hope you are creating and enjoying your moments. HAPPY NEW YEAR! I will be back soon. I want to share something fun from mom's birthday.😉

Enjoy the beautiful music by Andrea & Matteo Bocelli

  1. I'm so sorry about the loss of your wonderful SIL - try to remember the good times as much as you can. Like you, I am undertaking a rather drastic overhaul of my sewing space because I simply have too much stuff I know I will never use. I wish you the best of everything in the new year Pat.
