We haven't been there in a few years and with everything blooming so early this year I thought it would be a wonderful atmosphere to dine. I couldn't have ordered a more perfect day. We ate in the gazebo and admired the Wisteria.
We couldn't wait to wander the grounds and explore. Mom enjoying her chicken salad on a croissant.
We just missed the flowering crab apple trees but it was still a beautiful place to spend a peaceful outing. The Peony was huge.
This big green fella was croaking for a mate.
Mom posed for me.
A photographer was taking photos for an upcoming wedding and asked if he could take a photo of us together.
Little bits of color were hidden about the garden...
The Japanese garden was filled with Japanese Maples and a huge Koi pond with several Koi swimming about.
A few water falls set the mood for a slow stroll along the winding paths and over the wooden bridges. It was a perfect lunch date!
I hope you are having a wonderful day too.
