last post????
Sorry about the large font on the last post, Blogger must be messing with me...I can't fix it?????
Magazine info
I wanted to answer some of the questions about the magazine that I have received over night. Again, Thank You for your support and excitement.
When the issue is published, people can buy it on the MagCloud website or download it with the MagCloud iPad app. When you order an issue it is printed and you will receive a copy in the mail. At this point I am not offering it in disc form....remember, this is all new to me and I am working hard to pack each issue full of info, projects and fun stuff.
I personally will not be ordering them for purchase. It is just too inconvenient and would take longer for you to receive.

With that taken care of I wanted to say, you are the motivation behind the magazine and your voice will be heard here. If you want a certain topic to be addressed please email me and I will try my best to get the info out there. Between myself and the many CQ friends I've made through the years I'm sure we can keep your questions answered.
Future issues will offer beading, layering, felting, silk ribbon embroidery, collage, images, embellishments, stash collecting, techniques, and much more. If you have a specialty and want to be published please jot me an email anytime.

Wow! Thank you!!
I stepped away from my laptop for a few moments to return to such positive notes on the new CQ mag. Thank you all so much for your excitement. You can imagine mine. The decision was like stepping though an open door, the next stage. My love for crazy quilting and playing with beautiful stash combined with my love for sharing whatever I can on the subject. Meant to be I guess. I'm nervous but with messages of encouragement like you have sent me eases my mind. Thanks again my friends!News I'm bursting to share

Alright, I can't keep this all to myself much longer, I am publishing a paper magazine dedicated to crazy quilter's. "Crazy Quilt Gatherings" will premiere in March and will be a bi-monthly print to order publication.
Through the years there have been magazines teasing crazy quilter's by offering a page or two of crazy quilt projects but always seem to go back to appeal to a different audience. I know of no other printed magazine dedicated to crazy quilting available for purchase. I've sat on this idea hoping one would come along and with much thought and support from friends I decided it is time to go crazy! I hope it will be a welcome and enjoyable publication for not only crazy quilters but anyone who has a passion for fabrics, laces, beads, cloth images as well as various fabric related applications.
I hope to pack each 40 page issue with projects, artists, stash sources, new product reviews, and tons of beautiful eye candy from some of the most inspiring and highly talented crazy quilter's of today who enjoy sharing their love for this beautiful art.
So, to offer new resources to reader's I would like to welcome anyone who has an etsy/artfire/ebay shop or website that teaches or sells finished crazy quilt products or crazy quilt related stash items such as laces, beads, fancy fabric, threads, etc to contact me for very reasonable ad space at angell100@comcast.net. Ads will be accepted according to space on a first come/first serve basis. International sellers welcome with PayPal checkout accessibility.
There, the beads have been spilled and I can relax ....well, not for more than a minute because I have a lot of work to do! Please let me know if you are interested to share your work in a future issue. It is time we show the world that crazy quilting is alive and well and more beautiful than ever.

Fun surprises and exciting news coming very soon
I hope your new year started out right for everyone. Mine is continually busy with having to take over the landlady-ship for a while. I did sit down last night to enjoy a yummy cup of tea from my wonderful friend Sharon.
Thank you for the cute card and tea treat Sharon, it hit the spot!
Good news, My mother in law will be returning home next week and mom is doing well and anticipating the arrival of Spring...early but something to look forward to.
My day started off seeing DH off to work after a long vacation (since Thanksgiving). Yesterday he tried the upper cervical epidural for his back pain and I sure hope it works. Have any of you had this procedure? Did it work? If so , how long did it last?
It was kind of sad to have him leave the house because I was getting used to waking up and leisurely making breakfast and such :-(
As soon as he left I started removing ornaments from the Christmas tree. I wrapped them and put them safely in their safe place , took down the tree, packaged the lights and finally labeled them which I swore to do each year, vacuumed, dusted, moved around the dining room furniture, made pulled pork, answered the phone a million times and now updating my blog before DH gets home. Whew! This afternoon I will be putting away the outside decorations so I can start thinking about Spring, flowers, grass, and all the things that keep me motivated.
I wanted to share a surprise from my dear friend Judith from AU. This package arrived packed with fun things..
ornament kits, beautiful sheer green doily, one of her handmade fairy dolls, pretty card, gorgeous
dyed lace....
