Picking up the needle again

The snow has returned, I knew it wasn't gone for long. It was nice to have a little break just long enough to see green grass again and begin dreaming of warmer days and stitching on the porch swing.
I began another project but can only share a little peek...It seems everything I seem to be creating these days reflect on Spring.....wonder what is on my mind?
I wanted to remind those of you who have a fur baby who spends time with you while creating to send in their picture to be published in the "Studio Pet" page of Crazy Quilt Magazine. I'm accepting pictures until the page fills up.I just need a jpg of them, their name and yours.

Tomorrow (2/23) my sweet friend Terri T will be on the Nate Berkus show. You know where my behind will be plastered. If you get a chance, watch Terri as she exchanges a special item with Jenny from the TV show, "Flipping Out". You will recognize Terri, she's the little cute one with the halo :-)

I'm off to run errands so I can stay home tomorrow :-) Make it a great day!

  7. I'm feeling so guilty. I have an UFO project challenge to finish, so I cleared the decks this morning, so I could spend the afternoon and evening stitching. Then, Postie brought your magazine. So now I'm sitting here with a vodka and tonic, my stitching has been put on one side and I'm ready to relax and read your magazine from cover to cover. I'm not really feling guilty, because we're MEANT to enjoy it, aren't we? Thank you so much. Blessings from the UK
PS Hope your Mum is feeling better and will soon be able to resume the beach walks we all love hearing about. Please say 'hello' to her from me.

  10. Hi Pat -- I'm sitting here with snow again also. It's so depressing after having 70 degree weather for a few days.

I received my copy of the magazine also. I certainly hope there will be a #2, #3 and so on.

  12. Hi Pat, Just was able to take a moment for me and the first item on my list was ORDER PAT'S MAGAZINE. I have now done that and will stand at the mailbox in the snow and wait.LOL We woke to a foot of snow and more on the way. Congrats on the mag. If it is as nice as your book (that I cherish) it will be a winner. I shall try to send you a photo of Teddy for your pet section. Have not been able to blog to much as of late as we had a very sad Jan.I posted about it. But looking forward to Spring.

  14. So understand. I have yet to touch my spinning wheel since October and I'm jonesing to see the wheel turn, the fleece, silk and cotton being pulled through my fingers and the simple joy of watching it become a fiber for knitting, weaving or whatever needleart you crave. Sea Witch
