Foggy outside but sunny inside!

Boy is it every foggy this morning. I don't care at all because mom is home!!!! Yes, I picked her up from the hospital yesterday afternoon and we enjoyed a picnic of crab stuffed mushrooms and raspberry lemonade from Red Lobster in the car with the windows down in the middle of town. Now that was fun!
Today I must grocery shop, my poor guys have been fending for themselves for much too long and I am badly craving a fresh salad. This afternoon I will be heading over to do moms hair and all is well with the world!
I hope you make the best of your day because...life is like a box of chocolates!

  8. Pat, I've been catching up on your posts. What a challenge things have been for you! I understand your concern for your mom and MIL, as my mom battles Alzheimer's later stages as I lay here a slow and complicated healer from surgery, wishing I could be of more help to my parents right now. You and your mother's bond sounds as close as mine and my mother's. So hard to see them suffer at all. Wishing you and yours a quick and full recovery and many more beach walks to come. Hugs, Angela
