Will be off line for a bit

I've been having computer problems so I am having windows 7 installed and will be off line for a few days. I hope to finish painting tomorrow afternoon and after that I will be spending most of my weekend in my cozy corner by the window...reading the book I haven't had time to devour yet...
and perhaps do a little stitching too.

I thought I would share some new kits I am getting ready for etsy. I am making kits for the little felted brooches. They will include a small fabric image, assorted fabric bits, bit of vintage lace, beads, felt, dyed cheesecloth, pin back, silver tone metal heart charm and directions all tucked into a reusable storage tube. All you need to complete them are hand felting tools which you can buy at Hobby Lobby or Joann fabrics among other places.
They are perfect little projects to work on as gifts or to add to the front of a greeting card. Ok, gotta run, it has been one long day. Have a great weekend and try to be good until I return!!!! :-)

Sorry you have been having problems with your computer, I have windows 7 on my second computer it takes a bit of getting used to but when you know your way around it is a bit like a Mac,
    Enjoy your reading,

  6. Hope your computer is up and running again soon. From what I have heard, you will like Windows 7. Was a little nervous when I read your post header...thought you were taking a powder for a couple of weeks or months like everyone seems to be doing of late. Sea Witch

  8. Windows 7 is in the new computer I got in Dec and I love it! Hope you do too. The SeaGlass book has some tempting projects in it ~ I keep promising myself I will try one this summer. The chimes are really pretty ~ nice to look at when snow is piling up outside! Pat ~ that little white table (I think they called them smoking tables??)....I had one that I loved for the longest time and it looked just like that! It was lined in copper ~ I got it for $1.00 at a flea market because it was wobbly ~ nothing some wood glue didn't fix.
Have fun away from the computer ~ a nice thing to do once in a while!!! (but I'll miss you;)

  10. Hi Pat, I've just been reading your guest blog at Kitty and Me. I left a comment telling her how it was a chance glimpse of your work that inspired me to go back to CQ after being diagnosed with MS. For a while I lost interest in all my hobbies, and tremors in my hands wouldn't let me produce work of my usual quality, however, I managed to be a bit kinder to myself, and now accept that I have to work slowly. But I am enjoying it once again, and it's all down to seeing your wonderful work. So thank you. Blessings
