A baking kinda day

Not sure I would be posting today, I used my time wisely this morning and took pics as I prepared for a morning of baking. Using my brother's fresh zucchini , I baked some bread and a batch of chocolate chip cookies before throwing in a roast. It is cold outside but the sun is so bright it is impossible not to feel happy and motivated to fill the house with yummy aromas from the kitchen.
I started one medium zucchini..... shredded in food processor.

.....don't forget the raisins!

Mix it good!

DH had nabbed a sample before I photographed it,LOL. Good thing there are two loaves!!!!

Moist and healthier than the chocolate chip cookies!

But everyone needs a choice of treats on a cold Autumn day right? After all, there is a new gal of milk in the fridge!
I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Thanks for all the kind notes :-)  We will get results on Friday....Hugs!

  1. Hi Pat

I missed seeing your last post until today. I sure hope all is well and you will get some good results. Better to check everything out then they know how to help him.

I think your house smells better then mine today. I have spent the day cleaning out the pantry and a few cupboards. It is amazing what you accumulate after 10 years. Yes it has been 10 years in our new florida home. Not so new any more I guess.

    Try not to worry.

  3. I have never used courgettes (as we call them over here) in a cake - would love to try out that recipe - it looks delicious.

You are a woman of my own heart - I love backing and cooking - makes a home welcoming, and comforting, relaxing - and just nice and cosy.

Really cold here too today - not had time to blog - but there is always tomorrow.

Praying the results are good ones on Friday
