DH apparently has overworked his shoulders. Duh! Thanks for the well wishes, he is doing better, just needs to take it easy for a while, which I doubt will happen.
I've been dyeing ribbons and working at the rental place so not much sewing going on around here.
The weather has been beautiful. 75 degrees and sunny! Makes me want to ride a horse along a country gravel road. I am so glad to have those fond memories of owning a horse. What is it with girls and horses anyway? I'll have to settle for a bike ride with Angell in the front basket these days. I'm content with that. :-)
I am trying to think of a great September blog giveaway.......as soon as I come up with something, I will post it.
I got hooked on playing "Farmville" on Facebook...not a good thing. It is addictive and I am already at a loss for time. I think I may sell it,LOL. Sell the farm!
I hope you all have a great day and I hope to have something fun to share with you soon.

ReplyDeleteAngell is adorable in that basket! Makes me want her!! I'm so glad our weather has become more comfortable! Love the fall weather!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable Picture!! I owned horses a few years back, and loved going for rides down the country roads with the other boarders. The peace and quiet, the sound of the hooves on the road with the occasional winnie or snort for lack of a better word to describe when they blow through their mouths. What sweet memories you brought back! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Pat, I know where your summer
ReplyDeletehas gone to - Here.
We are really in for a hot one.
Thank you very much for your help.
I have had lots of visitors.
Carol Daisy.
I had a horse when I was younger too, and I agree, there is a connection! Never heard of Farmville but after what you've said, I don't think I'll visit - ha.
ReplyDeletetake care!
I know what you mean about the games on Facebook. I was thinking of cancelling my account yesterday, just wasting too much time on there! Marva
ReplyDeleteHello, I am just discovering your wonderful blog. I was instantly drawn in and felt welcome and right at home. I believe we share many of the same loves and interests. I will look forward to visiting with you again soon. Have a wondeful weekend! Twyla
ReplyDeleteYour little Angel makes me smile. I have 2 Poms, one tea cup and one keg! They are the best pals and love their 'smiles'.
ReplyDeleteI miss my horses, too, and gained way to much weight with their leaving! Had to give them up when hubby became ill and I didn't have enough time to take care of all!
