Twitter anyone?

Yes, I was tempted by Twitter. You can find me under my name, Pat Winter.I am not sure what my feelings are about it. What is the difference between blogging and Twittering? I know Twitter is short updates on your actions, but if that is all, what is the attraction? Any comments? Blogging allows you to journal for yourself and share with friends. Just another thing to take up your time I think. Just had to comment on that...now on to better things!

  1. I got on twitter and I just didn't like it. Made no sense to me at all. I am on facbook and I do enjoy that!

  2. I got on twitter, mostly to follow things at work. I haven't said much but I've found I'm able to keep up with events, sales, and news with Pokey Bolton (Cloth, Paper, Scissors), Knitty and, you'll like this, Vogue Fabrics. I haven't said much myself. I'm also on facebook--don't say much there, either.

  3. Nope, don't twitter. Don't understand the point. However, it probably has its purpose for some. I just don't want to know someone's every move and wonder why they are compelled to tell everyone their every move.

    I do like facebook.

  4. I don't Twitter, and don't intend to. You might as well spell it "ballandchain" in my book, LOL. I want to LIVE my life, not write about it or read others'. Those I care about I'll be in touch with by blog or email, in person, or on the phone. Enough already! Hugs, Cathy

  5. I'm on Twitter too but don't really get it. I'd much rather spend my time on Facebook or blogging.
