Going to have a play date this morning!!! Whoo hoo!

As you can see by the photo I just snapped out my studio window, it is a cold and snowy world out there, but it is warm in my studio as I ready for a play date with Laney.I have beef stew started in the crock pot, Hawaiian bread is ready to turn on at noon, and I am setting up for some fun.

I gathered some newly purchased pretty ribbons.............
I have my Kumihimo Disk and some beads.........

and work stations set up for *me* & *Laney*.

I will let you know how we do :-)

  5. I will be watching this very carefully. I saw the disk demonstrated at the Stitches show in Sept. I decided to buy one and went on line. I bought the disk and bobbins plus a book. Had no trouble making the cords but did have trouble trying to add the beads.

Maybe I can learn how to do it after watching you gals. Unfortunately I left it in Chicago thinking there would be no one around here to help me.
May have to have daughter do a post office run.

    Hugs
