Last post today

I finished the little blue pouch except for the strap.
It looked too plain with the beaded trim and rosettes so I took it off and added the hand dyed crochet trim. In person it looks much better. Oh my! How did that purple sneak in there? ;-OI am off to clean up and spend some time with DH. Have a wonderful evening everyone.

  4. Pat, I think the crocheted lace is perfect! Also love the little verse! So true! It seems silly to be jealous of others, doesn't it. Sometimes it takes a bit of deep searching within ourselves but we are all given our own special gifts. We should never belittle our own accomplishments and should never be afraid to try something new.

I'm always reminded of a gentleman artist in his 60s that I met at a sidewalk show in which I was participating. He painted pictures of the southwest that made me wish I could walk right into them! He had been a teacher all his life, had never painted, never knew he had talent until he retired and gave it a try! Imagine...all those years never knowing about such a gift....! But he was making up for lost time! God bless him!

  6. The crocheted lace is the best choice for this little bag. Can't believe the difference in the two pics. And a little bit of purple never hurt anybody (LOL)
