Finally finished one doll from giveaway! Sassy is her name.

Let me give you a bit of needful information for those of you who fear doll making like I did. These little dolls that I call "Inner Child" dolls have got to be the easiest, most fun creation I have ever had the pleasure to work on. Each one takes on it's own personality about 1/3 way through. When you add the shoes or feet and hands, you start to miss them already. At least I do because I know they won't be staying around for too long. I do want you to know that I cannot take credit for these creatures, Sandy introduced them to me and I just fell in love with them. I haven't met one I didn't like. I couldn't wait to stuff this one before finishing the other,so here is the problem child...Sassy. She gave me some troubles with her "attitude", sassing me the whole time I was embellishing her...and for no reason! I don't think she likes wearing high heels, but they were too cute! I love her but I just can't do anything with her. Perhaps her new mom can calm her down.

So, grab two pieces of wild fabric with a pattern and cut out any odd shape and embellish, stuff, sew, and ta da! You have an Inner Child doll to keep, give,or donate without even turning on your sewing machine . The down side is, they are hard to part with :-( but I know they go to very good homes). Tatbit and Karrin...your dolls will be mailed together so I can see who gets theirs first. I would have had them both completed but I stopped to work on the eye glass orders.

Ok, now I'm off to finish the other one!

Can I ask how you did the sides...I like that rolled look?
