Asking for help with blog...yet again!!!!

Well here I am again asking for help from a patient knowledgeable blogger who can help explain in a very simple language how I can add a wallpaper to my blog background. I just can't understand how this is done. I know it has to be done in the template...that's all I know. Anyone who can help would truly make me happy. My blog is so dull looking. I wanted a floral background of some sort.TIA to anyone who has a few moments to share.

  1. It's a little different for every template...I know Charlene uses the template you have and has changed her wallpaper you may want to ask her.
    I've done it in several templates but never used your template though.

  2. Pat,
    I find it useful to sometimes visit other's blogs who have the same template as my own to see what they've done with it. Once their site is one window, I can click on right above the address bar on "View" and then, on "Page Source" It will pull up a new window and I can view the source coding and often figure out what I should be doing. If that doesn't work and you can find an email link, most blogger's will either assist you or refer you somewhere that you can find that info. Best wishes with yours and Good Luck!

  3. I learned from someone else, so I'm happy to share.
    1. Save a photo you want to use in a public place, like Photobucket.com. Copy the link to use in the HTML.
    2. From your menu, choose Customize, Edit HTML
    3. In the Body section, find background: and paste your copied location between the quotes.

    body {background:url"http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/numbers/username/picture-name.jpg") repeat;

    Let me know if this isn't clear.
