TAST Detached chain stitch(lazy daisy)

Here are detached chain or lazy daisy stitches used with other stitches on seams. Simple uses but they add more "frill" to the single stitch. I also love to use the detached chain in my silk ribbon embroidery to make flowers such as Iris, daisy, leaves, etc.

  1. Pat,

I love your seam work! It just seems to flow! I really like the second seam above ... I will have to study it a little closer when I get home from work and give it a try.

  2. Karen is correct, your seams do just seem to flow. How long have you been stitching?

  3. These are beautiful. I love the variety of threads you use. You always seem to come up with something that makes a treatment look just a little different. I really like that second one, and will be studying it more closely. =) Thanks for sharing!

  4. These are delicate and so Pat-esque!

Just so you know, my blog has been booted off its server due to the huge quantities of spam it is generating. I hope to be up an running again next week...

  5. Oh the time flies, and it has been a bit since I have been around the ring. Love the things you have been posting and your new stitching corner.

  6. Just hopping by on the ring. Hope you are doing something that's fun, not down with the flu or something!
