I actually completed a pouch yesterday from start to finish. When I found this beautiful pale teal and cocoa brown beaded trim, the newly purchased fabrics came to mind. This was a "no-brainer" as far as gathering supplies. I used vintage pearl beads and a vintage velvet leaf which came from an old hat I found at an Antique Boutique. I love to use Kreinik metallic threads to add a subtle sparkle. The one I used for the feather stitch I believe is called "Dragonfly". I will have to check on that. I really love how this one turned out, and that is unusual for me to be happy with the end product!

Lovely as usual Pat!
Pat, I love the colors of your purse very much. Your colors are always elegant. I love your handdyed ribbons, too. But what color should I choose, I wonder? Hideko
Sometimes these spontaneous "quick" projects just embody everything we have learned and are trying to do....this one just nails it! Fabulous, Pat...
Your bag is wonderful, Pat. I love your hand dyed ribbons, too.
So pretty and elegant, I love the color combo, very victorian.
I agree, I want some ribbons but what colors, will be watching your store to see what you create.
That is just gorgeous. I've been stuck on pink and brown for a while, repro CW stuff, but this is every bit as pretty.
