My Hand

I finished my hand last night. I received a new bead embroidery book for my birthday so I thought I'd try my "hand" at a few stitches. I used seed beads for the Feather stitch, and petite seed beads for the Cretan stitch, and near the bottom I made a fringe to represent a bracelet using a beaded Arrowhead stitch. I traced my left hand, so I added a piece of crystal trim for my ring finger.
This is supposed to be on it's way to Houston for the "Show Of Hands" display.....but????

  1. Happy Birthday Pat! And oh my goodness! I'm going to have to start bringing some paper towels to my computer each morning. I'm drooling all over the place!

This so unique and beautiful. I love the bee!

  3. Stunning, Pat!
I can see how you wouldn't want to part with it, but it would sure be great exposure of crazy quilting to the crowds in Houston, who don't see enough of it...
